Rajesh D. Chavan

Rajesh D. Chavan is an experienced engineering and manufacturing professional with over 35 years of industry expertise. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering, Pune (COEP) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM) from Symbiosis Institute of Management. Since 2014, he has been serving as Director at Engineering Cluster Pune, where he provides strategic leadership in marketing and technical guidance for MSMEs. He is also a mentor to ARC Enterprises, specializing in component machining and fixture manufacturing.

His expertise spans project management, CNC machining, plant engineering, maintenance, finance, administration, safety management, and continuous improvement initiatives, gained through leadership roles across reputed organizations including Cummins India Ltd. He has also provided continuous guidance to the College of Agricultural Banking (CAB), Pune, and senior officers of the Reserve Bank of India on MSME development, innovation, cluster-based growth, and capacity building for sustainable MSME sector development.
